This is my favorite time of year, when we begin another academic year with a fresh schedule of visits to veterinary schools and colleges. This year we have three new field veterinarians joining Dr. Kristi Yee — and me! — as we speak to veterinary students. Most of our schedule is set, but we’re filling in the last few gaps. Click to see where we’ll be, and when. The schedule is also on the NationwideDVM Facebook page.
I’ll be starting the year’s series of lectures at noon, Aug. 23, in the Health Professions Center (HPC) Amp 2 at College of Veterinary Medicine at the Western University of Health Sciences.. The topic will be “Revenue,” which satisfies VBMA Business Certificate Program (BCP) category 1.
Now, meet our team:

Veterinary Education Programs Specialist
Before joining Nationwide, Nicole Numbers started her career in veterinary medicine working as a receptionist at All Care Animal Emergency Referral Center. She then went on to become a technician. She also spent two years assisting a veterinary pathologist at United Veterinary Laboratory. Nicole left the veterinary field for a few years and worked as an Assistant Account Executive at Bates USA Advertising Agency. This unlikely career combination uniquely qualifies Nicole for the position she holds today as the Veterinary Education Program Specialist overseeing all of the veterinary student programs at Nationwide. Nicole also attended fashion design school at Orange Coast College and resides in Orange County, Calif., with her beagle Lucie and her ocicat, Jaxx.
