One of the things I’m most proud of during my time at Nationwide is our long association with the VBMA. First as Veterinary Pet Insurance, now as Nationwide, we continue the tradition of supporting financial education in veterinary schools and colleges.

For me personally, this association has also been a pleasure because I get to meet smart, caring veterinary students and follow them into our beloved profession — veterinary medicine!

As we always do, we met on the eve of the AVMA convention to have dinner, outgoing and incoming national officers alike. I was too sick to attend this year (got to the conference later than planned), but Nationwide was well-represented by our Veterinary Education Programs Manager, the amazing Nicole Numbers — and by all of our Nationwide field veterinarians.
